أبو الحسن محمد بن أبي الحسن علي بن النجار البغدادي المقرئ الضرير قرأ القرآن الكريم بالقراءات الكثيرة، المشهورة منها والشواذ، على أبي الحسن علي بن عساكر بن المرحب البطائحي، وغيره. وسمع الحديث من البطائحي المذكور، وفخر النساء شهدة بنت أحمد الكاتبة. وأقرأ، وحدث. ومولده في رجب سنة سبع وأربعين وخمس مئة.١٧٤١ - وفي العاشر من جمادى الأولى توفي الشيخ
