أبو العباس أحمد بن أبي بكر التجيبي العدل الحرار، بمصر، ودفن من الغد بسفح المقطم، وقد قارب الستين. صحب جماعة من الصالحين. وشهد عند قاضي القضاة أبي القاسم عبد الرحمان بن عبد العلي ومن بعده. وأم بالمسجد المعروف بابن البلان بزقاق القناديل بمصر مدة. اجتمعت معه مرات، وسمعت منه شيئا من كلامه. وكان أحد الصالحين المذكورين والعباد المشهورين، مؤثرا، قليل التكلف، حسن الكلام. وانتفع بصحبته جماعة. والحرار: بالحاء المهملة وراءين مهملتين نسبة إلى عمل الحرير.١٦٧٥ - وفي السابع عشر من جمادى الآخرة توفي الفقيه الإمام
