أبو المنصور ظافر بن طرخان بن جواب الغساني الشافعي، بأرض مصر. ⦗٤٦٧⦘ تفقه على مذهب الإمام الشافعي ﵁ وسمع من الشيخ أبي عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم المقرئ الكيزاني، وأبي محمد رسلان بن عبد الله الشافعي وغيرهما ورحل إلى بغداد، وسمع بها من جماعة. وله شعر. وتوفي وقد زاد على الثمانين. وجواب: بفتح الجيم وتشديد الواو وفتحها وبعد الألف باء بواحدة.١٦٧٤ - وفي الخامس عشر من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ الأجل الزاهد
