أبو الحر معتوق ابن أبي البقاء بن علي الواسطي الأصل البغدادي الدار الصوفي الحداد. ومولده سنة إحدى أو اثنتين وثلاثين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي المظفر هبة الله بن أحمد ابن الشبلي، وأبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الباقي بن أحمد، وأبي المعالي أحمد بن عبد الغني بن حنيفة وغيرهم. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتبت لنا عنه من بغداد.١٦٥٧ - وفي التاسع والعشرين من صفر توفي الشيخ الصالح
