أبو الفضل جعفر بن أحمد بن جعفر بن أبي الحسن بن أبي عبد الجليل اللخمي الظالمي الإسكندراني النحوي الشاعر المعروف بالوراق، بمصر، ودفن بسفح المقطم. اشتغل بالنحو مدة وحصل منه أشياء حسنة، وقال الشعر الجيد. وسمع معنا من متأخري شيوخنا. وحدث بشيء من شعره، سمعت منه، وسألته عن مولده، فقال: في شوال سنة خمس وسبعين وخمس مئة بالإسكندرية.١٥٠٠ - وفي الثامن عشر من شوال توفي الفقيه الأجل
