أبو الحسين هبة الله بن أبي المعالي محمد بن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الحديد المدائني. ومولده في منتصف شهر ربيع الأول سنة ثلاثين وخمس مئة. تفقه ببغداد على مذهب الإمام الشافعي ﵁ وكان أحد العدول بالمدائن، وولي القضاء والخطابة بها. وذكر أنه سمع من أبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى، وغيره. وحدث ببغداد والمدائن بأناشيد.١٤٩٥ - وفي شهر رمضان أيضا توفي الشيخ
