أبو منصور غازي ابن الملك الناصر أبي المظفر يوسف ابن الأجل والد الملوك أبي الشكر أيوب بن شاذ، بحلب. ومولده بمصر في منتصف شهر رمضان سنة ثمان وستين وخمس مئة. سمع بالإسكندرية من الفقيه أبي الطاهر إسماعيل بن مكي بن عوف الزهري، وبدمشق من أبي المجد الفضل بن الحسين بن إبراهيم البانياسي. وسمع بمصر من العلامة أبي محمد عبد الله بن بري، وأجاز له أبو القاسم هبة الله بن علي الأنصاري وغيره من المصريين، وأبو عبد الله محمد بن علي الحراني وغيره من الشاميين. وحدث بحلب.١٤٧٠ - وفي الخامس من رجب توفي الشيخ الأجل الفاضل
