(فت). أحد بني ثعلبة بن سعد. قال عمر بن شبة: نا أبو نعيم نا أبو بكر بن عياش قال: جاء رجل من بني ثعلبة بن سعد يقال له: سعد بن عمارة، فقال: يا رسول الله ما تكلمت بكلمة قط إلا مزمومة مخطومة إلا كلمة () (¬٥) وذكر سيف أن خالد بن الوليد استعمل سعد بن العمارة فيمن استعمل من كماة الصحابة ﵃ على غطفان حين توجه هو إلى العراق.
