أبو الحسن علي بن أحمد بن أبي الحسن بن ملاعب البغدادي الظفري، ⦗٢٩٤⦘ ببغداد، ودفن من الغد. سمع من الفقيه أبي الفرج صدقة بن الحسين الناسخ، وأبي القاسم ذاكر بن كامل الخفاف. وحدث. ومولده في المحرم سنة أربع وثلاثين وخمس مئة. وكان يذكر أنه سمع من الحافظ أبي الفضل محمد بن ناصر ويقول: «أحق ذلك» وسنه يقتضي ذلك، غير أنه لم يظهر سماعه منه بشيء.١٣٣٥ - وفي السابع عشر من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ الزاهد
