أبو القاسم عبد الله بن أبي سعد بن أبي القاسم بن عبيد الله بن مرة اليزدي الصوفي، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بالوردية. صحب أبا الغنائم ظفر بن أحمد الطرقي وقدم معه بغداد. وسافر الكثير: الحجاز، والشام، وديار مصر، وخراسان، والغور، وغزنة، وكرمان، وبلاد فارس، وسمع في أكثر هذه المواضع. وكتب عن الشيوخ وصحب الصوفية. وحدث بواسط وغيرها. ويزد: بفتح الياء آخر الحروف وزاي ساكنة ودال مهملة مدينة بين أصبهان وكرمان. ويقال: كانت وفاته في المحرم سنة إحدى وست مئة.١٣٣٣ - وفي التاسع من صفر توفي الشيخ الصالح
