أبو الشكر محمود بن ايتكين بن عبد الله البغدادي الشرفي البواب، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. سمع من أبوي الحسن: علي بن عبد العزيز ابن السماك وعلي بن محمد بن أبي عمر البزاز، وأبي الفضل محمد بن ناصر الحافظ، وأبي القاسم صدقة بن محمد بن المحلبان وغيرهم. وحدث. وسئل عن مولده فذكر ما يدل أنه في سنة ست وعشرين وخمس مئة. ⦗٢٨٧⦘ ونسبته بالشرفي لأن أباه كان مولى شرف الدين نوشروان بن خالد الوزير. وفي الرواة: شرفي، منسوب إلى ولاء شرف الدين أبي القاسم علي بن طراد الزينبي. وشرفي: منسوب إلى الشرف الموضع المشهور بظاهر مصر بقرب الرصد. وشرفي: منسوب إلى الشرف من سواد إشبيلية.١٣١٦ - وفي شوال توفي الشيخ
