أبو حفص عمر بن محمد بن هارون الواسطي المقرئ، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بالشونيزي. قرأ القرآن الكريم بواسط على جماعة من الشيوخ. وسمع ببغداد من أبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى وغيره. وحدث -وكان صحب صدقة بن وزير الواعظ، وقدم معه بغداد وأقام بها إلى أن مات- وكان صالحا. ⦗٢٨٦⦘ ولقن جماعة القرآن العزيز وأم بالناس في الصلوات سنين.١٣١٣ - وفي الحادي عشر من شهر رمضان توفي الشيخ الصالح
