أبو زكريا يحيى بن أبي محمد علي بن المعمر البغدادي القطيعي، من قطيعة بباب الأزج، ويعرف بابن جرادة البستنبان، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. ومولده في ذي الحجة سنة سبع وثلاثين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى. وحدث، ولنا منه إجازة. والبستنبان: بباء بواحدة مضمومة وبعدها سين مهملة ساكنة وتاء ثالث الحروف مفتوحة ونون ساكنة وباء موحدة مفتوحة وبعد الألف نون، وهذه الكلمة تقال لمن يحفظ البستان.١٣١١ - وفي ليلة الثاني والعشرين من شعبان توفي الفقيه الأجل
