أبو الحسن علي بن أحمد بن علي بن عبد المنعم البغدادي الطبيب المعروف بابن هبل ويعرف أيضا بالخلاطي وينعت بالمهذب، بالموصل، ودفن بها من الغد بمقبرة المعافى بن عمران ⦗٢٦٧⦘ ﵁. ومولده ببغداد في الثالث والعشرين من ذي القعدة سنة خمس عشرة وخمس مئة. سمع ببغداد من الحافظ أبي القاسم إسماعيل بن أحمد ابن السمرقندي. وقرأ بها الأدب والطب. وسكن الموصل، وحدث بها، وأقرأ الأدب والطب. وبرع في الطب وله فيه كتاب مشهور. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من الموصل في جمادى الآخرة سنة ست وتسعين وخمس مئة. وهبل: بفتح الهاء والباء الموحدة المفتوحة وبعدها لام.١٢٨٠ - وفي الثالث عشر من المحرم توفي الشيخ الصالح
