أبو القاسم عبد الرحمان بن هبة الله بن عبد الملك بن إبراهيم بن غريب الخال البغدادي الحريمي، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. حدث عن الحافظ أبي القاسم إسماعيل بن أحمد ابن السمرقندي. واستبعد سماعه منه. وقد حدث جماعة من أهل بيته. وهم أهل بيت ولاية وتقدم. وغريب الخال: هو خال الإمام المقتدر بالله وهو بفتح الغين المعجمة.١١٥٢ - وفي العشرين من جمادى الأولى توفي الشيخ الأجل
