أبو الفضل محمود بن محمد بن الحسن بن عبد الباقي البغدادي الكواز، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. ومولده في سنة ثمان وعشرين وخمس مئة. سمع من الحافظ أبي الفضل محمد بن ناصر، وأبي الحسن علي بن هبة الله بن زهمويه وغيرهما. وحدث. والكواز: بفتح الكاف وتشديد الواو وفتحها وبعد الألف زاي نسبة إلى عمل الكيزان من الخزف.١١٤٠ - وفي ليلة الحادي والعشرين من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ
