أبو سعيد مسعود بن محمود بن مسعود بن حسان المنيعي النيسابوري، بها، ودفن من الغد بالجامع المنسوب إليهم بنيسابور. سمع من أبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الرحمان الكشميهني، وأبي المعالي فضل الله بن جعفر الحسيني، وأبي القاسم محمود بن كاكويه، وأبي حفص عمر بن أحمد الصفار وغيرهم. وحدث. والمنيعي: نسبة إلى الجد. ومولده سنة أربع عشرة وخمس مئة.١١١٩ - وفي السابع عشر من شهر رمضان، وقيل في السابع عشر من شوال، توفي الشيخ الصالح
