أبو سعيد أحمد بن محمد بن أبي نصر الأرجاني الأصبهاني الضرير بأصبهان. سمع من أم إبراهيم فاطمة بنت عبد الله الجوزدانية. وحدث. وكان متيقظا ذاكرا لسماعه. وأرجان: بفتح الهمزة وبعدها راء مهملة ساكنة وجيم مفتوحة وبعد الألف نون: بلدة من كور الأهواز، ويقال لها: أرغان، بالغين المعجمة أيضا. وقيدها أبو بكر الهمذاني بفتح الهمزة وتشديد الراء وفتحها وذكر ذلك أيضا غيره. وقال: وربما جاء في الشعر تخفيف الراء.١١٠١ - وفي الثاني من شهر ربيع الآخر توفي الشيخ
