أبو محمد وثاب بن قصة الشافعي المعروف بابن الميراثي، بمصر، ودفن بسفح المقطم بقرب الحوض المعروف بأم مودود. حضرت الصلاة عليه ودفنه. سمع الحديث وصحب جماعة من المشايخ. واجتهد به أن يسمع منه فامتنع. وكانت له بداية مشهورة وسياحات وخلوات. وانقطع بسفح المقطم إلى أن توفي. وكان يقصد في مكانه فلا يوجد وربما وجد في حفرة من تلك الحفار التي بسفح المقطم. كتبت عنه أنشادا. وقصة: بضم القاف وتشديد الصاد المهملة وفتحها وتاء تأنيث.١٠٤١ - وفي هذه السنة أيضا توفي الشيخ الفاضل
