أبو الغنائم سالم بن منصور بن عبد الحميد العرباني المقرئ، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بمقبرة الشونيزي ⦗١٣٥⦘ وقد بلغ الثمانين أو ناهزها. تفقه بالرحبة على أبي عبد الله ابن المتقنة. وأقام بالمدرسة النظامية (ببغداد) سنين. وسمع من أبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الباقي، وأبي زرعة طاهر بن محمد وغيرهما. وحدث عن أبي المرهف نصر بن منصور النميري بشيء من شعره. وكان دينا كثير التلاوة للقرآن الكريم، وانقطع في منزله. وعربان: إحدى قرى الخابور، وهي بفتح العين والراء المهملتين وباء مفتوحة موحدة وبعد الألف نون.١٠٢١ - وفي السادس من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ
