أبو محمد عبد الله ابن الشيخ أبي الفتح أحمد بن عمر بن سالم بن باقا السيبي الأصل البغدادي المولد والدار العدل المعروف بابن الدويك، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. ومولده سنة ثلاث وخمسين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الباقي بن أحمد، وأبي القاسم يحيى بن ثابت بن بندار، وأبي زرعة طاهر بن محمد بن طاهر، وغيرهم. وحدث. وهو أخو شيخنا العدل أبي بكر عبد العزيز. والسيب: بكسر السين المهملة وسكون الياء آخر الحروف وبعدها باء موحدة ناحية من سواد العراق من أعمال بغداد.١٠١٤ - وفي الرابع من جمادى الأولى توفي الشيخ الأديب
