أبو القاسم عبد الله بن صافي بن عبد الله البغدادي الخازني، بالمارستان العضدي ببغداد، ودفن بمقبرته. ⦗١٠٦⦘ ومولده سنة خمس عشرة وخمس مئة. ويقال: إنه جاوز التسعين. ذكر أنه قرأ القرآن الكريم على أبي بكر محمد بن الحسين المزرفي، وغيره. وسمع من أبي الحسن علي بن أحمد الموحد، وأبي عبد الله الحسين بن علي سبط الشيخ أبي منصور الخياط، وأبي الفضل محمد بن عمر الأرموي، وأبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى، وغيرهم. وحدث. وكان أبوه مولى لرجل يعرف بحسين الخازن فنسب إليه. ويقال: إنه آخر من حدث عن أبي الحسن الموحد.٩٦٤ - وفي ليلة الخامس من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ الأجل
