أبو العباس أحمد ابن الشيخ الأجل الصالح أبي الحسن عبد الملك بن محمد بن يوسف البغدادي الحريمي المقرئ المعروف بابن باتانة، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. قرأ القرآن الكريم بالقراءات على والده أبي الحسن عبد الملك، وعلى أبي الفتح عبد الوهاب بن محمد الخفاف، وعلى أبي الفضل إسماعيل بن علي الغساني الدمشقي لما قدم بغداد. وسمع من القاضي أبي بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي الأنصاري، وأبي البركات يحيى بن عبد الرحمان بن حبيش الفارقي، وغيرهما. وحدث.٩٢٤ - وفي التاسع من جمادى الآخرة توفي الفقيه الأجل
