أبو حفص عمر بن إبراهيم بن عثمان التركستاني الأصل الواسطي المولد والدار الواعظ الصوفي، بشيراز. سمع بواسط من أبي محمد عبد الرحمان بن الحسين ابن الدجاجي، وأبي العباس هبة الله بن نصر الله بن محمد المعروف بابن الجلخت، وأبي طالب محمد بن علي ابن الكتاني، وغيرهم. وسمع ببغداد من أبي الثناء محمد بن محمد بن هبة الله المعروف بابن الزيتوني، والكاتبة شهدة بنت أحمد بن الفرج الإبري، والفقيه أحمد بن إسماعيل القزويني، ومن بعدهم. وسافر الكثير إلى الحجاز، والجزيرة، وديار بكر، وخراسان، وغزنة. ووعظ، وحدث في أسفاره.٩٢٢ - وفي جمادى الأولى توفي الشيخ
