أبو المظفر علي بن علي بن رزبهان بن الحسن بن باكير الفارسي الأصل البغدادي المولد والدار المراتبي الوزير ⦗٧٦⦘ بذات عرق حاجا، ودفن بها. ومولده في جمادى الآخرة سنة خمس عشرة وخمس مئة. سمع ببغداد من الحافظ أبي القاسم إسماعيل بن أحمد ابن السمرقندي، وحدث عنه وكان فيه فضل وكتابة. وهو من بيت تقدم وولاية، ووزر للسلطان أبي داود سليمان بن محمد السلجوقي، ويدعى سليمان شاء لما قدم بغداد. وهو منسوب إلى باب المراتب ببغداد.٩٠٩ - وفي الثالث والعشرين من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ
