أبو محمد يوسف بن أبي الغنائم أحمد بن الحسين البغدادي الحريمي الدباس المعروف بابن المتش، ببغداد، ودفن بباب حرب من الغد. ومولده في سنة سبع عشرة وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي غالب أحمد بن الحسن ابن البناء، وأبي الفضل محمد بن أحمد بن علي ابن الأشقر، وغيرهما. وأجاز له أبو عامر محمد بن سعدون بن مرجى العبدري، وأبو القاسم هبة الله بن محمد بن الحصين، وأبو عبد الله الحسين بن محمد البلخي، وجماعة. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من بغداد سنة أربع وتسعين وخمس مئة. والمتش: بفتح الميم وضم التاء ثالث الحروف وبعدها شين معجمة مشددة.٩٠٥ - وفي الثالث عشر من شوال توفي الشيخ
