أبو نصر محمد ابن الشيخ أبي الحسن سعد الله بن نصر بن سعيد ابن الدجاجي الواعظ، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. ومولده في رجب سنة أربع وعشرين وخمس مئة. سمع بإفادة أبيه وبنفسه، من جماعة منهم: أبو جعفر محمد بن علي بن محمد ابن السمناني، والقاضي أبو بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي، وأبو منصور عبد الرحمان بن محمد القزاز، وغيرهم. ورحل إلى الكوفة فسمع بها من أبي الحسن محمد بن محمد بن غبرة الحارثي. ⦗٥٩⦘ وحدث بالكثير ببغداد، وواسط، والموصل. ووالده أبو الحسن سعد الله قرأ القرآن الكريم بالقراءات وسمع من غير واحد، وأقرأ، وحدث، ووعظ عدة سنين.٨٧٣ - وفي السادس عشر من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ الفقيه
