أبو محمد عبد اللطيف ابن القاضي أبي الحسين هبة الله بن أبي المعالي محمد بن أبي الحديد المدائني، ببغداد، ودفن بمشهد الإمام موسى بن جعفر ﵉. تفقه على مذهب الإمام الشافعي ﵁ ونظر في علم الكلام والأدب. وكانت فيه فضيلة. وقد تقدم ذكر أخيه أبي البركات محمد. ووالدهما أبو الحسين هبة الله كان قاضي المدائن وخطيبها وسيأتي ذكره إن شاء الله تعالى.٨٧٢ - وفي ليلة الخامس عشر من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ
