أبو منصور المفضل بن عقيل بن حيدرة بن علي البجلي المعروف بابن النفيس الرميلي. ومولده منتصف رجب سنة عشرين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي القاسم الخضر بن الحسين بن عبد الله بن عبدان وغيره، وسمع الكثير من الحافظ أبي القاسم علي بن الحسن الشافعي. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من دمشق في شوال سنة خمس وتسعين وخمس مئة. وعقيل: بفتح العين المهملة وكسر القاف.٨٦٤ - وفي السادس من المحرم توفي
