أبو القاسم أحمد بن أبي الحسن علي بن أحمد بن محمد بن حراز الكرخي المقرئ الخياط، ببغداد، ودفن بمشهد الإمام موسى بن جعفر ﵉. ومولده في شهر رمضان سنة أربع وعشرين وخمس مئة. سمع من القاضي أبي بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي، وأبي منصور عبد الرحمان بن محمد القزاز، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن محمد ابن السلال، وأبي الفتح عبد الملك بن أبي القاسم الكروخي، وغيرهم. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة. وحراز: بفتح الحاء المهملة وتشديد الراء المهملة وفتحها وبعد الألف زاي.٨٣٥ - وفي منتصف ذي القعدة توفي الشريف الأجل
