أبو محمد إسماعيل بن أبي الغنائم أحمد بن إبراهيم الشيرازي الأصل البغدادي المولد والدار، ببغداد، ودفن بمقبرة الشونيزي. ومولده في صفر سنة أربع وعشرين وخمس مئة. سمع من القاضي أبي بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي، والحافظ أبي القاسم إسماعيل بن أحمد ابن السمرقندي، وأبي محمد يحيى بن علي ابن الطراح، وأبي سعد أحمد بن محمد ابن البغدادي، وغيرهم. وحدث. وهو أخو الحافظ أبي يعقوب يوسف بن أحمد الشيرازي، وإسماعيل أسنهما.٨٢٣ - وفي ليلة عيد الفطر توفي
