أبو العباس أحمد بن محمود بن أحمد التبريزي الصوفي، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب أبرز. صحب شيخ الشيوخ أبا القاسم عبد الرحيم بن إسماعيل النيسابوري. واختص بخدمته، وسمع منه. وكان خيرا. وكان موته فجاءة. سمع قوالا ينشد بيتا فتواجد وزاد وجده وحركته وتغير لونه، فظن الجماعة أنه غشي عليه، فجاؤوه بمشموم وسقوه ما يقوي نفسه، فمات لوقته.٨١١ - وفي ليلة السادس عشر من رجب توفي الشيخ الأديب
