أبو حامد طيب بن إسماعيل بن علي بن خليفة بن حبيب بن طيب بن محمد بن إبراهيم البغدادي الحربي القصير، ببغداد، ودفن بباب حرب. ومولده سنة أربع وعشرين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي القاسم عبد الله وأبي محمد عبد الواحد ابني أحمد بن عبد القادر بن يوسف، والقاضي أبي بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي، وغيرهم. وحدث. وحصل له في آخر عمره صمم شديد، فكان يحدث من يسمع منه من لفظه.٨٠٨ - وفي ليلة السابع والعشرين من جمادى الآخرة توفي
