أبو بكر محمد بن يوسف بن أبي بكر الطبري الآملي المقرئ إمام الملك الناصر صلاح الدين، بدمشق، ودفن من يومه بجبل قاسيون. سمع بأصبهان من أبي الخير محمد بن أحمد الأصبهاني المعروف بالباغبان، وأبي الفرج مسعود بن الحسن الثقفي. وسمع بهمذان من الحافظ أبي العلاء الحسن بن أحمد العطار. وسمع بشيراز من أبي المبارك عبد العزيز بن محمد بن منصور الآدمي الشيرازي. وسمع (مسند الإمام الشافعي) ﵁ من أبي زرعة طاهر بن محمد المقدسي. وحدث بمصر، ودمشق. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من دمشق في جمادى الآخرة سنة ست وتسعين وخمس مئة.٧٩٠ - وفي الثاني والعشرين من شهر ربيع الآخر توفي الشيخ
