أبو الرضا عبد الله بن أبي محمد بن يعلى بن عبد الله الشافعي المقرئ، بمصر. ومولده سنة أربع عشرة وخمس مئة. سمع من الفقيه أبي محمد عبد الله بن رفاعة بن غدير السعدي، والأديب أبي عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم بن ثابت المقرئ المعروف بابن الكيزاني، وأبي الحسن علي بن نصر بن محمد بن غفير الأرتاحي، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله بن الحسين الهروي، وغيرهم. وحدث، ولم يتفق لي السماع منه، وحدثنا عنه غير واحد. وأم بالمسجد المعروف به بالسجاعة من فسطاط مصر مدة طويلة.٧٧٨ - وفي الرابع والعشرين من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الفقيه الحافظ
