أبو الفتح عثمان بن عيسى بن منصور بن هيجون البلطي النحوي اشتغل بالأدب وجمع فيه مجاميع. وتصدر بالجامع العتيق بمصر، وحدث عن أبي المظفر محمد بن أسعد المعروف بابن الحكيم، وحدث أيضا بشيء من تاريخه وشعره. وسئل عن مولده، فقال: ولدت في سنة أربع وعشرين وخمس مئة لثلاث بقين من شهر رمضان بعد صلاة المغرب ليلة الثلاثاء. وبلط: بفتح الباء الموحدة واللام وطاء مهملة بلدة مشهورة بقرب الموصل ويقال لها أيضا: بلد.٧٥٨ - وفي هذه السنة أيضا توفي الشيخ الصالح
