أبو بكر حامد ابن الشيخ الأجل أبي الفرج محمد بن حامد بن محمد بن عبد الله بن أله الأصبهاني المولد البغدادي الدار والوفاة، ودفن من الغد بالعتابين في تربة لعمه العزيز الأصبهاني هناك. ومولده بأصبهان سنة ثلاث وعشرين وخمس مئة. ⦗٤٣٦⦘ سكن بغداد وسمع بها من أبي زرعة طاهر بن محمد المقدسي، وغيره، وحدث بها. وهو أخو العماد الأصبهاني الكاتب الذي قدمنا ذكره، وكان الأصغر، وقدم على السلطان الملك الناصر صلاح الدين رسولا من الديوان العزيز ورجع.٦٨٦ - وفي العشرين من ذي الحجة توفي الشريف الأجل الأفضل
