بنفشاه ابنة عبد الله عتيقة الإمام المستضيء بأمر الله أمير المؤمنين أبي محمد الحسن وصلي عليها بدار الخلافة العزيزة في ذلك اليوم، ودفنت بالتربة الشريفة عند معروف الكرخي –﵁. وكانت أحظى جهاته عنده. وكانت كثيرة الرغبة في أفعال البر عمرت مساجد لله تعالى في غير موضع. ووقفت المدرسة بباب الأزج على أصحاب الإمام أحمد بن حنبل –﵁، وعقدت على دجلة جسرا للسابلة.٦٦١ - وفي ليلة الثامن عشر من شهر ربيع الآخر توفي الشيخ
