أبو زكريا يحيى بن طاهر بن محمد البغدادي الواعظ المعروف بابن النجار، ببغداد، ودفن بالجانب الشرقي بمقبرة المختارة. ومولده في يوم عرفة سنة اثنتين وعشرين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي محمد عبد الله بن علي سبط الشيخ أبي منصور الخياط، وأبي سعد أحمد بن محمد (بن) البغدادي، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن محمد ابن السلال، وأبي إسحاق إبراهيم بن محمد بن نبهان، وأبي الفضل محمد بن عمر الأرموي، وغيرهم. وحدث.٦٢٣ - وفي الرابع من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ
