أبو محمد عبد الصمد بن جوشن ابن المفرج التنوخي الدمشقي الشافعي، بدمشق، ودفن بالباب الصغير. ومولده يقارب سنة عشرين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي الدر ياقوت بن عبد الله التاجر. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من دمشق في ذي القعدة سنة ست وتسعين وخمس مئة.٥٧٠ - وفي الرابع من المحرم توفي الشيخ الصالح الزاهد
