أبو الحسن علي بن أبي المظفر المبارك بن أبي العز محمد بن أبي الحسن جابر البغدادي العدل، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. ومولده في شهر ربيع الأول سنة عشر وخمس مئة، وقال مرة: في سابع عشر صفر من السنة. سمع مسند الإمام أحمد بن حنبل –﵁ من أبي القاسم هبة الله بن محمد بن الحصين، وسمع من أبي نصر الحسن بن محمد اليونارتي، وغيرهما. وحدث؛ سمع منه القاضي أبو المحاسن الدمشقي. ولنا منه إجازة.٥٣٥ - وفي ليلة الثامن عشر من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ الأديب
