أبو نصر المبارك بن إسماعيل بن عبد الباقي بن أحمد ابن الصواف الواسطي البزاز، بواسط، ودفن بمكان كان قد حبسه على متعلمي القرآن الكريم. ومولده في شهر ربيع الأول سنة إحدى وعشرين وخمس مئة. قرأ القرآن الكريم بالقراءات الكثيرة على أبي الفتح المبارك بن أحمد الحداد، وغيره. وسمع بواسط من أبي عبد الله محمد بن علي ابن الجلابي، وأبي محمد أحمد بن عبيد الله ابن الآمدي، وغيرهما. وسمع ببغداد من أبي الفضل محمد بن ناصر الحافظ. وحدث بواسط.٥٠٧ - وفي الثالث من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ الفقيه
