أبو عمرو عثمان ابن الشيخ الأجل أبي القاسم نصر بن منصور بن الحسين بن العطار الحراني الأصل البغدادي المولد والدار، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب عند والده وأهله. سمع من أبي الوقت السجزي، وأبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الباقي بن أحمد، وأبي محمد عبد الله بن أحمد بن أحمد بن أحمد ابن الخشاب، وغيرهم. وكان متواضعا سهل الأخلاق.٥٠٤ - وفي ليلة العشرين، ويقال: التاسع عشر، من ذي القعدة توفي الشيخ الأجل
