أبو الفرج عبيد الله بن أبي علي الحسن بن علي ابن الدوامي، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. سمع من أبي سعد أحمد بن محمد الأصبهاني، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن محمد ابن السلال، وأبوي الفضل: محمد بن عمر الأرموي، وأحمد بن طاهر الميهني، وغيرهم. ويقال: إنه حدث. والدوامي: بفتح الدال المهملة وبعدها واو مفتوحة وبعد الألف ميم.٤٨٢ - وفي الخامس عشر من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ
