حسام الملك أبو الحسن علي بن أحمد ابن اللمطي، بمصر. سمع من الحافظ أبي أحمد معمر بن الفاخر. وحدث عن أبي حفص عمر بن عبد المجيد الميانشي، وأبي محمد يوسف بن أحمد بن إبراهيم البغدادي، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم البستي، وأبي أحمد عبد الوهاب بن علي بن علي. وكان كثير الصدقة ملازما لأفعال البر مثابرا على إكرام الفقراء.٤٧٧ - وفي الثامن عشر من شهر ربيع الآخر توفي الفقيه الأجل
