أبو منصور محمد بن أبي القاسم عبد الله بن علي بن غنيمة بن يحيى بن بركة البغدادي الحربي الخياط المعروف بابن حواوا، بدسكرة نهر الملك وهي من نواحي بغداد، وصلي عليه بها وحمل إلى بغداد فدفن بمقبرة باب حرب، وقد زاد على الثمانين. سمع من القاضي أبي الحسين محمد بن محمد ابن الفراء، وأبي القاسم هبة الله بن محمد بن الحصين، وغيرهما. وحدث.٤٧٣ - وفي منتصف شهر ربيع الأول أيضا توفي الأمير الأجل
