أبو الفتح محمد بن محمود بن إسحاق بن المعز بن الحسين ابن الحراني، ببغداد، ودفن بباب حرب. سمع من جده لأمه القاضي أبي عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله ابن الحراني، وأبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى، وأبي المظفر هبة الله بن أحمد ابن الشبلي، وغيرهم من البغداديين والغرباء. وجمع لنفسه مشيخة خرج فيها عن جماعة كبيرة. وحدث.٤٥٧ - وفي ليلة الثالث عشر من ذي الحجة توفيت الشيخة
