أبو المعالي مسعود بن أبي القاسم أحمد بن محمد بن علي بن العباس الحنفي العطار المعروف بابن الديناري، ببغداد، ودفن بمقبرة الخيزران. ومولده في سنة ثمان عشرة وخمس مئة. وسمع من جده لأمه أبي عبد الله الحسين بن الحسن المقدسي، وأبي القاسم بن الحصين، والقاضي أبي بكر الأنصاري. وحدث، سمع منه الحافظ أبو المحاسن عمر بن علي.٤٥١ - وفي العشر الأول من ذي القعدة توفي الشيخ
