أبو محمد الحسن بن علي بن حمزة بن محمد بن الحسن بن محمد العلوي الحسيني المعروف بابن الأقساسي، ببغداد. ⦗٢٨٨⦘ سمع ببغداد من الأثير أبي المعالي الفضل بن سهل الأسفراييني. وله شعر، حدث بشيء منه. وولي نقابة العلويين بالكوفة مدة. وهو منسوب إلى موضع بين الحلة المزيدية والكوفة يعرف بالأقساسي، وقيل قرية كبيرة بالكوفة وهي بفتح الألف وسكون القاف وسينين مهملتين بينهما ألف.٤٠١ - وفي ليلة الثالث والعشرين من شهر رمضان توفي الأديب
