أبو العباس أحمد بن أبي الفائز بن عبد المحسن البغدادي الأزجي الشروطي المعروف بابن الكبري ⦗٢٨٢⦘ ومولده في شعبان سنة ثمان وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي القاسم هبة الله بن محمد بن الحصين، وأبي طالب أحمد بن الحسن ابن البناء، وغيرهما. وحدث. والكبري: بضم الكاف وسكون الباء الموحدة وكسر الراء المهملة وآخره آخر الحروف، سئل عنه أحمد فقال: هو لقب لجدي عبد المحسن.٣٩٣ - وفي الخامس عشر من شهر رجب توفي الشيخ الأجل
